Clearing Skies

This view is a familiar one to me- a place our family walks after dinner in the summertime, bundled up against the wind in winter, and everything in-between. The expansive fields and tree-lined hedges give a sense that you could just keep on walking forever. I love that about this place, and I'm so grateful to call it home. This was painted in my studio on linen panel, based on a reference photo taken on one of these many walks.
