Cliffs near Bull Bay, Anglesey

I recently walked along the coastal path on the Island of Anglesey North Wales, UK armed with sketchbook and watercolour paints. I was attracted by the jagged dark rocks below and circling sea birds. This is a dangerous coastline and famous for shipwrecks.
I paint in oil on linen covered panels which I make. I use palette knife which I find useful to describe rock which is a favourite subject of mine
