Cows in the Pasture

"Cows in the Pasture" is an oil painting of a local farm near where I grew up. I remember driving past this particular scene as a teen, the few large trees in the pasture and cows in the distance, and feeling comforted by it. I still come here frequently to paint alongside the cows, especially when I am in need of some peace, quiet, and a comforting, familiar place.
