Tails of Fall

Tails of Fall is a pastel painting of the cattails that surround my parents pond at sunset. On this particular evening the colors of the sky were surreal and bold! Add to that the vertical punch of the cattails and the fine lines of the nearly bare trees. I just could not pass up the opportunity to paint this amazing view!
