'Street Dweller of Paris' is painted from a quick sketch and reference photos taken near Notre Dame in Paris. I was sketching a street scene when I saw her on the other side of the road with sunlight directly falling on her and making her stand out against the shops in shadow. She had a forceful personality that would draw attention anywhere.
