Flight of Daybreak

Created from a series of plein air studies I did just before sunrise and sunrise at this same location. I wanted to capture the golden light of the sunrise on the quintessential Californian landscape in the fall. On this particular day the birds broke out in an energetic flight passing right by me, surprising me during this serene moment of a break of a new day.
