This Studio painting, inspired by a plein air painting I did at Bundy Canyon just outside of Yosemite. This intimate scene was one of the hidden gems among the Grandeur of the Sierra's, a simple cotton wood sapling and its humble reflection in a small pond, that beckon for my attention to paint its glorious fall foliage.
