Dog Paddling, Then She Swims to the Left

The artwork is a picture of a wave on the ocean. In the wave are many dogs to symbolize dog-paddling. Also hidden in the shape of the wave is a woman, swimming freestyle toward the left. It took 7 years of studying waves on and off and adjusting its colors before I decided to turn this artwork into a self portrait of how I was feeling at the time with my art to be able to make it feel meaningful and create a connection to complete it.
