Various soft pastels on Sennelier card surface. I look at this pond at Boca Ciega Millennium Park just a mile from my house and am always filled with a sense of peace as the Waterlilies drift by. I see why Monet loved looking at his in Giverny and my father in Orlando where he painted en plein air at Lake Eola. There's just something soothing about waterlilies that make the world's problems drift away.
