The rolling Rattlesnake Mountain in eastern Washington is comprised of an arid shrub steppe landscape replete with sagebrush, chamisa, and many other native plants. While a vibrant Yakima River flows through this area and provides a watersource for the many orchards and vineyards that cover the landscape in our growing agriculture. This is a viewpoint above Kiona Vineyards, in the Red Mountain AVA near Benton City, Washington.
