Every summer I’m compelled to capture the nostalgia, the feel of my summers as a kid— the fields, trees, oaks, lanes, countryside of my beloved Oregon. This scene epitomized that for me and I had to paint it. Alla prima, Plein air, painted a month ago during quarantine.
